Guys, I get it. You don’t like to ask for help. But when you get sick, you go to the doctor. When you want to get in shape, you join a gym. If your brain is getting in your way and keeping you from living the life you want, it’s okay to get some help with that too. Everybody struggles at some point, and everyone needs help navigating life's obstacles from time to time. Your struggles don’t define you, but how you choose to face them can change your life.
What Therapy with me is like
It probably involves more laughter than you think it will. I steadfastly believe that life is wonderfully absurd. Laughter can at times help us endure and lead us back towards the version of ourselves that we really want to be. My approach is warm, curious, and grounded in a clear understanding of how our brains work. I focus on helping people live the life they want to live but feel they cannot. Which can be due to trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, or even living in just a rut, in this wonderful city we find ourselves in.
